Striving to offer the best services possible, The Cole Project offers counseling and support groups in the following areas:
- Young adults and teens struggling with the death of a close family member
- Individuals and families dealing with the reality and effects of a terminally ill loved one
- Young adults and teens struggling with the death of a close friend, peer, classmate, or partner
Committed to providing the highest level of support, all of our staff undergo extensive training programs, written and administered by Rev. Christopher Tucker. Group sessions are lead by teams of coordinators and volunteers, meeting every other week from September through May. In order to provide the safest, most effective peer interactions, groups are divided according to age, with parents meeting separately from their children.
In addition to in-house support groups, The Cole Project's outreach program supplies low-income elementary-age children grief support within their schools, working with both English and Spanish speaking groups.
