Welcome to The Cole Project
We are a non-profit organization offering peer-to-peer grief support through music for 13-23 year olds who have experienced death of a loved one. Beyond group support we strive to equip people with the tools they need for continued self care outside of a group setting. Music gives us a connection to our feelings, an outlet of expression and a sense of hope. Click here to learn more about why we integrate music in our grief support.

Our Story
Executive Director Angela Busch founded The Cole Project in honor of her son, Cole-Michael Busch, who fought brain cancer and died at the age of 15. In the wake of his death, many of his friends and peers had nowhere to turn for grief support. The Cole Project was started to provide a safe space for those in need and create a community of healing for young adults. Our mission is to help those suffering find a way to navigate through loss with peer support, music therapy, and the power of connection.
